Join the adventure at the 50th International Viola Congress, Paris 2026!

In this original play created especially for the congress, the International Viola Society faces a mysterious challenge; it has lost its tone!

Along the way, they meet violists from every corner of the globe, gathering the wisdom, creativity, and courage needed to restore the lost sound. Through music, storytelling, and a touch of humor, Raiders of the Lost Tone celebrates everything that makes the viola community so vibrant and connected.

At the heart of the production is the Congress Orchestra, which plays throughout the entire performance. Nora willl join the viola orchsetra

All participants of all levels, students, professionals, teachers, and amateurs, are warmly invited to join!

Rehearsals will take place each morning of the congress, starting on the very first day.

The music for the play is composed and conducted by Karin Dolman, who will lead both the rehearsals and the final performance.

The grand finale will take place in the magnificent Amphithéâtre Bastille in Paris! A spectacular setting for this unique viola adventure.
