Stanford alumni and musical artists Eric Wanger and Nora Williams are co-hosting this inaugural salon event in a private residence (1660 North Burling in Chicago), 3 to 5 pm, offering guests an intimate look at the process of writing and performing classical music. The event will include a composer chat with Eric and performances, followed by discussions with Eric, Nora, and guest flutist Timothy McNamara. This is a unique opportunity for those who love music to experience it in a home, enriching their experience even more by learning from one another and from the artists who create it.
